1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gemaura ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gemaura is a machine learning–powered trading card grading tool. Users upload images of trading cards and receive an estimated grade based on our ML model. Gemaura is intended as a reference tool only and does not provide official grading services.

The Service also attempts to identify the card in your photos and to show an estimated market value for it, together with recent price history, drawn from third-party sales data. This applies on every plan, including the free plan; plans differ in how many cards you may scan. Both are automated and optional features of the Service; neither is a valuation, an appraisal, or an offer to buy or sell.

3. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Gemaura's grades are estimates produced by an ML model. They do not constitute official PSA, BGS, CGC, or any other grading company grades. Actual grades from professional grading companies may differ significantly.

ML estimate disclaimer: Gemaura is currently in beta. Our model is under active development and may not accurately reflect the grade a professional grading service would assign. You should treat all results as a rough reference only.

Card identification and value estimates: Card details are read automatically from your photos and may be wrong — in particular the specific parallel or variant, which can change a card's value substantially. Market values come from third-party sales data, cover only cards for which such sales have been recorded, and may be incomplete or out of date. They are estimates of what similar cards have sold for, not an appraisal of your card, not a price we offer, and not financial advice. You are responsible for checking any figure before relying on it.

Gemaura accepts no liability for decisions made based on our estimates, including buying, selling, or submitting cards for grading. Always consult a professional grading service before making significant financial decisions about a card.

4. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a paid subscription.

5. Plans, Payments, and Refunds

Gemaura offers a free plan with a limited number of grades per month, and paid plans with higher limits. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (paddle.com), who handles billing and receipts.

14-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the transaction by emailing support@gemaura.ai. Because grading credits are consumed each time you run an analysis, refunds on purchases that have been substantially used may be prorated to reflect the credits already used. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Purchased credits do not expire.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI model
• Upload images that are not of trading cards
• Abuse the free tier to circumvent usage limits
• Share account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, models, and software powering Gemaura are the property of Gemaura. You retain ownership of the images you upload.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gemaura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to Gemaura in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Termination & Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Monthly subscribers: If you delete your account, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of your current billing period. Your account remains active and usable until that date, at which point it will be permanently deleted. Outside the 14-day refund window above, no partial refund is issued for the remaining days of the period.

Annual subscribers: Account deletion takes effect immediately. Outside the 14-day refund window above, no refund is issued for the remaining period of an annual subscription.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
